Lucia Ashmore

Lucia gained her experience as a filmmaker working ambitious documentary films for both broadcast (BBC, Channel4, ARTE) and cinematic release (Arts Council England, UK Film Council, and private funding).

Trained in Anthropology, she’s budgeted and set up shoots in places throughout Europe, the USA and Caribbean, Nigeria, and the Arctic, for UK and international clients.

She has recently returned to her core interest in social issues and current affairs films, including work on feature stories for BBC Newsnight.
